Jeff Stephens was born and raised on the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation in North East Arizona. His childhood was filled with many challenges and art became his solace. Growing up on the reservation where art classes were non-existent he never imagined his art being anything more than an escape from his reality.
Jeff joined the US Army in 2010 and that is when his art took on a new meaning. In his time spent away from home, he continued to rely on art as an escape. When he returned home, he knew that he wanted to pursue a career in art. Shortly after his return he was asked to join the Graffiti of War Project. The project focuses on bringing awareness to the invisible wounds of war, PTSD and TBI.
Jeff is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in art and selling his work to help with the expenses of college.
